Welcome to 3 New Members

New Members being welcomed by President Peter Watts

Our merger with Immingham Rotary Club has been quickly followed by the induction of 3 new members to add to the newly expanded club.

David Pritchard, Stephen Cripsey and Patrick King are pictured being welcomed by 2011/12 President Peter Watts. The club is keen to recruit new members, especially women, in order to give more people the opportunity to experience the pleasure and personal rewards of being part of a world-wide community service organisation, in addition to adding new ideas to our work.

The 3 new members will take out total to 48.

2011 Treasure Hunt

2011 Treasure Hunt

Almost 40 members and friends thoroughly enjoyed a Treasure Hunt on 4 September, around hidden churches in northern Lincolnshire. We ended the trip with Sunday lunch at the recently re-opened Blacksmiths Arms at Rothwell.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to bond with new members and to introduce friends to Rotary. The blend of fellowship through social occasions and community service through charitable projects is for many, the attraction of being members of Rotary International.
